Ola Launches e-bike services in Delhi and Hyderabad

Following the massive pilot success in Bengaluru last year, Ola will introduce its e-bike services in Delhi & Hyderabad.

After a highly successful pilot program in Bengaluru last year, Ola, the leading mobility platform, is set to introduce its e-bike services in the bustling cities of Delhi and Hyderabad.

The company is poised to revolutionize urban commuting with its electric bike taxis, offering an eco-friendly and cost-effective mode of transport.
Affordable Pricing Structure:
Ola's e-bike services come with an enticing price starting at just ₹25. The transparent and affordable pricing model is designed to make electric bike commuting accessible to a broad audience. The tiered pricing is as follows:

- ₹25 for a 5 km ride

- ₹50 for a 10 km ride

- ₹75 for a 15 km ride

Ola is committed to making a significant impact on the electric vehicle landscape, with plans to deploy a total of 10,000 electric vehicles over the next two months in Delhi and Hyderabad. This strategic move is part of Ola's broader vision to have the largest EV two-wheeler fleet in the country.

By the end of the year, Ola aims to launch its e-bike services across the country, providing a sustainable and efficient commuting option for urban dwellers nationwide. This expansion follows the positive outcomes of the pilot program initiated in Bengaluru in September 2023.

Building on the success of the Bengaluru pilot program, Ola plans to enhance the deployment of e-bikes in the city. During the initial pilot, the Ola S1 scooters were utilized, contributing to Ola's claim of having the largest EV two-wheeler fleet in the country.

As of now, Ola has achieved over 1.75 million rides through its e-bike fleet and established 200 charging stations in Bengaluru. The company is actively working on creating an extensive charging network in all markets where it operates, ensuring seamless service and accessibility.

According to Hemant Bakshi, CEO of Ola Mobility, the electrification of Ola's fleet and a focus on premiumization are pivotal factors driving the company's growth. Ola reported profitability based on EBITDA in FY23, reflecting the positive trajectory of the company.

Ola's expansion of its e-bike taxi services signifies a significant stride toward sustainable and affordable urban mobility. With a strong focus on nationwide deployment and a commitment to environmental consciousness, Ola is set to reshape the landscape of electric vehicle commuting in India.
